Get Involved

Why not Volunteer? The Food and Support Drop In will always welcome friendly new volunteers to help distribute food on Saturday between 9.30 and 12.00 at Ebenezer Church, St James Road. Alternatively you can help split the food into individual portions on Thursday mornings between 10.00-1300.

Here is a general list of food that we give out- for a more accurate list please keep an eye out for the weekly list published in the News section. We get donations of food from Churches, individuals and organisations but we also do a weekly supermarket shop for fresh bread, milk and any items we need to top up to keep sufficient supplies.

Donations of money are accepted too- cheques are payable to Christians Together Halifax - please write Drop In on the back of the cheque so that we know which project it is for.

Saturday mornings 9.00 until 11.45 and Thursdays 10.00 until approx. 1.00

Making up 100 parcels means 100 cartons of milk, 100 toilet rolls, 100 tins meat, 100 loaves of bread etc. This is quite a shopping list, but if we each put in a little we can give out to a lot.
